The crew at Rhossili Coastguard team is made up of 14 people, which is bigger than a usual coastguard team but due to the high amount of calls we respond to it was neccesary to increase the size of the team. Each member of the team has at least a part time job, with most of them in full time employment but they still find the time to resond to a call out. The team itself in an emergency situation is paged about the call and it is then up to us to respond but as people have responsibilties especially their jobs they may not be able to respond but there is usually enough members of the team to deal with any callout any day of the year.
